This workshop will give you all the basics you need when it comes to audition do's - don'ts - pitfalls and etiquette, expectations and preparation for the job, the headshot and resume, finding a local agent, and what to expect once you are in the game. Then get ready to put everything to the test with mock auditions. Luck happens when timing and preparation meet - so come get prepared!

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
As an actor Jon has been in more than 50 commercials and industrials for Time Warner, Toyota, Speedway, Big Lots, Max & Erma's, Safe Auto, Nationwide Insurance, Proctor & Gamble, Federated Department Stores and more. Plus over 30 short films, 11 feature films, 12 theatrical productions, numerous voice-overs, print work and a troupe member of Out Of Our Heads! Improv. Over the last half-decade Jon has compiled over 30 writing, directing, editing and shooting credits for feature film, short film, commercials and industrials. His short film 'Mann In Hock' was selected by IFC (The Independent Film Channel) for it's world broadcast premiere and Jon chosen as Director of the Month for it's debut. Jon recently directed his first feature film 'Minus One' which is now currently in post-production and slated to be completed later this year. Jon is an AFTRA member and is represented by the CAM Talent Agency.
